Once there, your account is automatically validated and you are ready to play.
If you do not receive an email from us within a couple of minutes after creating your player name, there may be a problem with your email address, or your provider is not accepting emails from us. If you have a second email address, you may want to send our member services department a message so we can follow up with you and troubleshoot the problem.
After you download the game you need to install it on your system. Once the game is installed, you only need to double click on the game icon to open the game. Step 1 listed below gives exact instructions on how to install the game. Step 2 is how to open the game. If you saved the download to your desktop, you will see an icon of a computer with the setup. Some Internet services save all downloaded files in a 'download' folder. The easiest way to find the file if it is not located on your desktop is to click on Start>Find>Files or Folders and search there.

If you are unable to log into the game, you may be operating behind a firewall that does not allow access to secure sites. An example of a secure site would be a bank where you can access your account information or credit card statement on line. Secure sites generally begin with "https" in the browser window. If you are operating behind a firewall, you need to talk to the administrator of your system about allowing you access to game.
This is most likely a browser setting problem. Please do the following:

There are a number of reasons you may experience this. The speed of your connection (dial-up, cable, DSL) plays a large part, although the speed of your computer plays a part as well. Delays can also occur if your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is having problems or experiencing heavy traffic.
If you are disconnected during a hand, the software will automatically attempt to reconnect and return you to the table. If you return in time, you will find yourself in the same seat with the other players waiting for you to continue.
If you lose Internet connection, or have a problem with your computer, you will have at least 30 seconds to complete your turn. This time could increase, based on the number of players in the game, and whether or not it is your turn.
Transactions are posted to players' accounts at the completion of every hand. If a hand does not complete, for any reason, those players' accounts are restored as they were at the beginning of the hand.
You may wish to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to find out if they are having problems or experiencing heavy traffic. They should also be able to tell you what the maximum connection speed you can have, and where on your computer you can view your "connection status." This will allow you to quickly identify if your ISP connection is affecting your connection.
The other option may be considering upgrading your modem speed. If your computer is operating on a 28.8K modem, you may want to purchase a 56K modem or switch to a high speed internet service such as cable or dsl.
From the main screen on the game, click on 'options' located in the top of the game screen. Here you can turn animation and sounds off or on.
In your computer, click on Start>Settings>Control Panel Double click on 'display' (usually shows a picture of a monitor with a ruler next to it).
You will see different tabs such as background, screen saver, settings. Click on 'settings.' You will see on the right hand side a slide bar labeled 'screen area' or something similar. Use this slide bar to change the settings.

After you join a table, the Game Lobby screen will minimize itself. Just click on the icon in your Windows tray (at the bottom of your screen) to bring the Game Lobby back and join a second or third table. To prevent slowing a game down, players are limited to sitting and playing three tables at one time.
If your monitor is too small to see all those tables at the same time, check out our MiniView feature! When you open a table, click on 'MiniView,' located in the lower right corner of the table screen. This shrinks the table into a bar. To change it back, click on 'full table view.'
Absolutely! Just open a game by double clicking on it. You can also chat with the players at the table, but we ask that you be respectful by keeping your chat to a minimum, especially at a tournament table where players are typically very focused on the game. The MiniView is also a great way to observe multiple tables. Depending on screen size, you may be able to fit up to four MiniView tables on your monitor. When you open a table, click on 'MiniView,' located in the lower right corner of the table screen. This shrinks the table into a bar. To change it back, click on 'full table view.'
Just click on the table you wish to be wait listed and then click 'join waiting list.' As seats become available the system will offer them to players in the order which they joined the list.
When there is an open seat for you, a message will be sent asking you to elect one of three options:
- be taken to the table immediately
- be put back on the wait list
- remove yourself from the list.
When you are at a table, you can see the previous hand history by clicking on 'get hand history' that is found in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
If you want information on multiple hands, or for a game that you previously played, you can contact support@ub.de and request the history be emailed to you. It is very helpful if you have the exact hand number(s). If you do not have these, try to provide as much information as possible including your player name, the name of the table, the approximate time/date you were playing and the names of other players at the table.
Every hand played is given a unique number. The game number, also known as the hand number, is listed at the top of the game along with the table name and stake level. This number expedites our research for players requesting hand histories or reporting a problem with a specific hand.
The hand numbers for each table are sequential. If you missed the hand number, and the next hand has already started, just note the previous number.
When you are at a table, you will notice in the bottom right corner a white box. Check that the "Live Chat" is clicked on and that your cursor is in the box. Then simply start typing. After you type your message hit the enter key to have your message posted to the chat window.
